Hi! I'm Richie Merritt and singing has been my passion for many years! I have performed from coast to coast, border to border with a few international gigs thrown in along the way. I now call Florida my home and I'm really loving it! You may have heard me singing with groups that included The Marcels (Blue Moon, Heartaches), The Clovers (Devil or Angel, One Mint Julep, Love Potion #9), The Memories (Can I, Sh-Boom),The Drifters (Save the Last Dance For Me), appearing with the "Richie Merritt Review" or perhaps on one of my Cd's. I continued to perform nationally with The Marcels after moving to Florida but after spending so many weekends traveling out of state for the past nine years I have I decided to concentrate on the Florida music scene with my own show and enjoy more of the Florida Lifestyle! Now you'll be seeing me locally as "Richie Merritt Live" .......the former lead singer of "The Marcels!" When I am on stage I will still perform your favorite classic R&B, Soul and Oldies but you'll hear new materials including jazz, standards from Sinatra, Mathis and others, some country, and some of today’s music including a few of my own songs!
